			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Traim vremuri frumoase, vremuri in care suprematia colos este in pericol, competitie care duce doar la cresterea calitatii serviciilor de ambele parti. Noi utilizatorii vom avea doar de castigat de pe urma luptei dintre Google si Microsoft.</p>
<p>Google a decis sa investeasca milioane de dolari in reclame anul acesta, primul mare push a fost promovarea in timpul Superbowl. Aceste 49 de secunde au costat extrem de mult insa consider ca a si meritat considerand nivelul de expunere.</p>

<p>Nu putem spune ca unul este mai bun ca celalalt, am observat ca totul se rezuma la obisnuinta. Daca eu sunt obisnuit sa folosesc Google via Firefox de 100 de ori pe zi nimic nu ma poate impinge spre Bing. Nu este ca nu vreau ci ca am ajuns intr-un stadiu in care cautarea a ajuns ceva mecanic, nici nu vad logo motorului si am gasit ceea ce cautam.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>O chestie destul de stupida parerea mea, Microsoft a fost nevoit sa scoata reclama care se folosea de &#8220;voma&#8221; pentru a promova Internet Explorer 8.<br />
Mesajul reclamei era simplu, cu ajutorul IE8 nu mai ajungi sa iti surprinzi neplacut persoana iubita (sau orice alta persoana) care iti foloseste calculatorul.</p>
<p>Cu toate ca nu sunt cel mai mare fan IE reclama imi placea si atingea un punct destul de bun in lumea virtuala, este bine sa stergi orice urma dupa ce folosesti in PC.</p>
<p>Revenind la motivul retragerii, se pare ca un numar mare de oameni au depus plangeri la adresa reclamei (ghiciti de unde au fost acei oameni).</p>

Veniturile au scazut iar masinaria a fost pusa in miscare pentru a dezvolta ceva nou.</p>
<p>Nu este o idee noua, totusi marele risc in cazul reclamelor extensibile este enervarea vizitatorului, acele popupuri nenorocite care ne fac viata amara pe anumite siteuri.</p>
<p>In cazul de fata google a evitat dezastrul, reclamele nu se vor mari automat actiunea se petrece doar dupa ce vizitatorul da efectiv click pe ea. Veniturile insa apar dupa un nou click (plecarea de pe site)</p>
<p>Partea buna a acestui tip de reclame este ca prin ele vor veni si clipuri si diferite informatii, deja ne rupem de standartul reclamelor text/banner. Partea proasta este ca sunt rezervate doar &#8220;jucatorilor&#8221; mari din lumea AdSense, deci sunt putine sanse ca ele sa apara aleator pe siteuri.</p>

<p>Aceasta problema apare in reclamele text, niciodata nu am inteles de ce ar dori cineva sa aduca oameni pe un site care nu are nici o legatura cu reclama initiala.</p>
<p>Nu vreau sa dau exemple insa consider ca e cel mai prost mod de a cheltui banii, omul cand ajunge sa dea click pe o reclama inseamna ca e interesat de ce scrie (ma refer la reclamele text), daca landing page la acea reclama nu are legatura cu idea initiala inseamna ca ea si-a ratat scopul complet. Rata de conversie in aceste cazuri este extrem de mica si totusi inca vad asemenea reclame.</p>
<p>Acest lucru poate fi tratat si altfel, o firma cu un buget de reclame mare doreste sa isi extinda publicul tinta &#8211; inunda piata cu reclame mai mult sau mai putin relevante produsului promovat cu scopul de a mari vizibilitatea. Vanzarea acelui produs nu mai este scopul primar ci introducerea marcii/imaginii in mintea privitorului.</p>
<p>Exista foarte multi oameni priceputi care nu detin fonduri pentru a promova un produs dar si mai multi care au fondurile necesare si nu stiu cum sa promoveze corect si eficient.</p>

<p>Tocmai am realizat ca telefonul mobil a ramas singurul obiect neatins de <strong>boala electorala</strong>, in rest totul musteste de propaganda. Televiziunile nu sunt 100% obiective, ziarele si revistele la fel iar despre radio nu vreau sa vorbesc.</p>
<p>Propaganda electorala este peste tot, de la pliante la elicoptere cu bannere mult prea mici pentru a fi vazute de un om normal, cu bani se poate realiza orice. Ei bine se pare ca virusul nu a atins telefonia mobila, am telefoane pe toare reletele din Romania si <strong>nu am primit nici macar un mesaj in care sa fiu convins sa merg la vot.</strong></p>
<p>Oare au considerat politicienii ca o asemenea modalitate nu este eficienta sau companiile de telefonie s-au speriat de posibilitatea pierderii clientilor. Am ajuns atat de sufocati de aceste mizerii incat un mesaj electoral pe un telefon ar fi fost urmat de un abonament anulat in unele cazuri.</p>

<p>Un site mare ajunge sa consume foarte multe resurse, iar <strong>resursele costa</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft" title="left balcony" src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/49/133995620_1d0877b09a_m.jpg" border="0" alt="left balcony" hspace="5" />Cand vorbim de Mare nu vorbim de un site cu 100,000 de vizitatori pe zi, vorbim de un site impartit de mai multe servere (de ordinul zeci/sute),de multe ori in diferite zone ale lumii. Siteuri care au intregi departamente ce se ocupa de ele iar traficul se calculeaza pe ora nu pe zi. Wikipedia are 50,000 http requests pe secunda (nu mai stiu sursa)</p>
<p>La asemenea statistici factura este astronomica, daca luam in calcul costul serverelor, bandwidth si echipa de intretinere ne dam seama ca un simplu serviciu ce afiseaza bannere in content sau sidebar nu este suficient.</p>
<p>Un serviciu ca <strong>Google Adsense nu poate acoperi nevoile unui site mare</strong> (un mastodont online) iar alte servicii fie nu sunt eficiente fie nu pot acoperi cerintele unui site mare.  In siteurile mari care au probleme putem vorbi despre Twitter, Youtube, Facebook iar lista poate continua.</p>
<p>Youtube a incercat monetizarea in fel si chip, tatal Google a incercat sa il ajute cum a putut. Reclame adsense, reclame in-video, acum va incerca sa vanda locuri pentru clipuri (similar AdWords) pe prima pagina.</p>
<p>Este un pic trist insa acest lucru face ca siteurile mari sa incerce sa devina mai bune pentru a supravietui.</p>

<p><b>Nu trebuie sa pui 15 bannere pe site.</b> Chiar daca ai 10 surse de venit, nu le pune pe toate pe un blog. Va incarca prea mult si va respinge vizitatorii. De asemenea, tine cont de tema blogului, pozitioneaza reclamele in asa fel incat sa nu deranjeze prea tare. Oamenii vin pe un blog pentru a se informa, pentru a citi ceva NU pentru a fi obligati sa vada zeci de bannere colorate.</p>
<p>De asemenea, un lucru testat, cu cat pui mai multe reclame pe un blog, cu atat sansa ca un vizitator sa o vada (si eventual sa dea click) scade.<br />Am vazut zeci de bloguri care aveau zeci de bannere (nu neaparat reclame ci bannere catre alte bloguri) care pur si simplu sufocau continutul.<br />Mie personal nu imi plac siteurile prea incarcate, blogurile unde trebuie sa depun efort sa ajung sa citesc ceva. </p>
<p>Nici nu vreau sa incep discutia despre bannerele animate (flash/etc) care pur si simplu dauneaza laptopului meu. Voi discuta despre acele bannere in alta insemnare</p>
<p><i>Cu cat faci un site mai complicat cu atat vizitatorul va sta mai putin pe el.</i></p>

Lucru din care toata lumea are de castigat. <strong>Companiile aduc trafic/clienti noi pe un anumit produs iar blogurile si siteurile in general castiga bani din programul Adsense.</strong></p>
<p>Pentru clientii Adwords trebuie sa mentionez ca reclame nu este scumpa comparativ cu potentialul acesteia. Chiar si pentru Romania,  unde a fost un boom urias in utilizarea internetului, adwords merge si merge bine. Multumita sutelor de bloguri(nu neaparat) care promoveaza cu succes aceste reclame</p>

<strong>Se pare ca Nokia va domina piata smartphone cu cele 3 telefoane: N79 &#8211; N85 &#8211; N96</strong></p>
<p>Despre N85&#8230; din nou are tot ce ti-ai putea dori la un telefon mobil. Un nou produs bine creat si bine gandit de Nokia care te lasa fara cuvinte. Sa speram ca va &#8220;iesi&#8221; pe piata cat mai curand.</p>
<p>Probabil cele 3 telefoane for iesi pe diferite etaje de preturi, evitand astfel &#8220;canibalizarea&#8221; si probabil pretul va fi si factorul determinant in cazul meu.</p>
<p>Daca N96 se anunta la un pret de 500-600 eur fara taxe&#8230; este clar, cel mai probabil ma voi multumi cu N79</p>

<p>Eu consider ca a prezenta articole partiale este un lucru bun. <strong>De ce?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Vizitatorul poate alege ce doreste sa citeasca</li>
<li>Reclamele adsense for fi relevante pe continutul articolului respectiv, nu pe intreaga pagina</li>
<li>&#8220;lungimea&#8221; pagini va fi mai scurta (poate parea banal dar conteaza)</li>
</ul>
<p>Motivele folosirii sunt multe, eu personal folosesc pentru rezultatele adsense. Vizitatorul va vedea reclame mai relevante iar potentialul unui eventual click este mai mare.</p>
<p>De asemenea este mai putin obositor, un cititor care cauta articole pe un anumit subiect va ajunge mai usor la ele.</p>
<p>In final este vorba de preferinte, recomand testarea posibilitatilor si descoperirea aspectului ce prinde cel mai bine la publicul tinta.</p>
